It includes all aspects of fixed and removable prosthodontic care including exposure to implant dentistry. Clinical treatment involving combined prosthodontic and other dental therapy.
Assessment
You will take written, clinical, practical and oral examinations, including the presentation of patients for whom you have provided prosthodontic therapy integrated with other restorative dental therapy. The assessment will be in three parts:
The scientific basis of prosthodontic care
Combined prosthodontic and other restorative dental therapy

If you have already obtained an MSc in Conservative Dentistry or Prosthetic Dentistry you may be exempted from the first year of the course and the Part 1 and Part 3 examinations.
Entry requirements
You will need a primary qualification in dental surgery and satisfactory completion of two years’ professional experience. For students whose first language is not English an IELTS band score of 7.0, a TOEFL score of at least 610 or an equivalent alternative qualification is required. The course is recognised by the relevant UK Specialist Advisory Committee as forming part of training leading to the award of a Certificate of Completion of Specialist Training (CCST).
