Overview of the university
In 1980, Sir Roy Goode decided to create an environment where practising commercial lawyers and those from academia could meet and exchange ideas. His vision was that by bringing together these different perspectives, we would create better outcomes. And so the Centre for Commercial Law Studies (CCLS) was born.
Now offering over 20 specialist LLM programmes, the centre offers the largest LLM offering in Europe with over 150 modules to choose from. There is also the option to study in London, Paris, Singapore or online.
Based in the heart of "legal London" in Lincoln's Inns Fields, the centre is a great location for postgraduate law students to thrive with opportunities to network with neighbouring law firms.
