Course overview

The Odette Accounting Area offers a wide range of courses helping students develop an in-depth theoretical and practical understanding of topics in Management Accounting, Financial Accounting, Auditing & Assurance, Taxation, Finance and Performance Management.

Odette Accounting courses are designed for students interested in accounting and managerial positions in public accounting, governmental, private sector, healthcare and academic organizations among others.

Students interested in accounting can follow one of the following paths or enrol in individual courses.

Bachelor of Commerce with an Accounting Concentration:

An Accounting Concentration will provide students with the ability to seek accounting jobs that do not require a professional accounting designation. Students in Accounting Concentration will also have completed some of the requirements towards the Chartered Professional Accounting designation.
