International tuition fees are 14,000 Euros per year. The University also offers generous scholarships as tuition fee waivers up to 6,000 Euros available across both years of study.
You do not have to pay tuition fee if you:
- are an EU/EEA citizen
- are equivalent to an EU/EEA citizen (i.e. citizen of Switzerland)
- have a permanent residence permit (type P)
- have an EU Blue Card
- have a continuous residence permit in Finland for purposes other than studies. However, please note that in the following cases the tuition fee is charged:
- If the first residence permit in Finland was granted for the purpose of studying, tuition fees must be paid, even if a type A permit is later obtained on other grounds.
- If the type A permit is based on family ties, and the family member originally came to Finland on a residence permit granted for studying, tuition fees are required.
- If the type A permit is granted for studying, tuition fees are required.

Course overview
The Master’s Programme in Artificial Intelligence for Accounting and Finance develops both theoretical understanding and practical competencies that prepare students for demanding analytical, advisory, management, and technological roles in business and public sector organizations. The Programme also reflects the growing internationalization and digitalization of finance and accounting by integrating global standards, technological innovation, and professional practice.
Upon completion of the Programme, graduates will develop the following learning outcomes:
Knowledge of the field of study
- Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of artificial intelligence, data analytics, finance and accounting methods, and digital transformation.
- Apply AI models, statistical methods, and research findings to financial reporting, valuation, risk assessment, and strategic decision-making.
Academic and analytical skills
- Critically evaluate academic research on AI, finance, accounting, and big data modelling.
- Identify emerging research topics, innovation opportunities, and technological challenges in digital finance and accounting.
- Apply quantitative and computational methods, including machine learning, predictive modelling, automation, data mining, and optimisation, to solve complex financial and accounting problems.
Technical and digital skills
- Use AI tools, programming environments, financial data platforms, and intelligent systems to analyse, visualise, and interpret complex datasets.
- Design or evaluate AI-enhanced business systems, analytics processes, and digital platforms for financial decision-making.
- Understand principles of AI governance, data privacy, transparency, and model accountability.

The intensive 2-year programme consists of 120 ECTS and earns you a Master of Science in Economics and Business Administration degree.
