Course overview

USQ's Master of Science (Mathematics and Statistics) is ideal for graduates from any discipline who are looking to develop their mathematics/statistics knowledge and skills. Even if you haven't studied in some time, this degree will provide you with a broad education in mathematical and/or statistical techniques and problem solving skills.

Combining coursework and research, you will have the opportunity to further develop your skills with 4-units of research. Designed for school teachers wanting to update their skills, you will also undertake a professional development component in science, as well as gain a specialist foundation relevant for further research.
