Gain a comprehensive understanding of different energy systems. You’ll develop the technical expertise and management skills to tackle global energy challenges, optimise resource use and lead innovative projects across the energy sector.

This course equips you with the technical expertise and management skills to tackle energy challenges and drive innovation in industrial contexts. You'll gain a deep understanding of conventional and renewable energy systems, fuels and low-carbon technologies, alongside practical experience through applied experiments and energy audits.

The course integrates industrial management and innovation principles, preparing you to lead projects, manage change and deliver sustainable solutions in energy engineering. You will learn to combine technical knowledge with strategic thinking through modules in innovation management, strategic engineering management and real-world commercial problem-solving.

Hands-on learning is central to the course. Laboratory sessions, workshops and applied engineering projects develop practical skills in energy system design, analysis and performance evaluation.
