Course overview

This groundbreaking degree includes the study of African, Caribbean, Contemporary and Urban dance forms and is the first degree of its kind in the UK to present these dance forms equally.

Based at the Moonshot Centre in the heart of vibrant New Cross, you will be part of a creative community, including a performance company, independent artists developing their professional practice and a community engagement programme.

Central to the degree is a focus on industry links and career development, with networking opportunities, placement opportunities, expert speakers and options for site-specific performances in central London. It will prepare you for work in performance, arts management, community arts and education.
