Course overview
The MRes in Biomedical Sciences and Translational Medicine is a 1-year, full-time programme that provides students with a first class grounding in research training at Masters Level. It is suitable both for those wishing to pursue further studies at MD, MPhil, and PhD level or/and those intending to enter industry in a research related capacity. It can also be taken as an excellent alternative to intercalated degrees by medical, dental or veterinary students.
The main focus of the course is on provision of high level research training. This is achieved via three 10-week research projects (30 weeks in total) conducted in internationally recognised laboratories within the Institute of Translational Medicine.
