About this course

  • The BSc Marketing and Management enables you to able to design and deliver a compelling marketing strategy by developing your understanding of consumer behaviour, wants and needs
  • The marketing elements of this programme introduce you to the principles that deliver good marketing practice. You will learn about consumers and the role of markets and marketing in today's society
  • You will develop an understanding of how marketing contributes to the financial health of an organisation by covering an introduction to the principles of accounting, and to understand how markets behave, you will also be introduced to economics
  • The management component of the degree will ensure you have a strong grounding in organisational structures, management skills, and business strategy

The BSc Marketing and Management degree offers you the opportunity to spend a year working in a related industry or studying abroad.

If you choose one of these options your placement year will take place in your third year, before returning to complete your degree at Exeter in your fourth and final year of study.

You can apply directly to one of these options, or you can apply to the standard BSc Marketing and Management course and transfer onto one of these options in the first term of your first year.
