Course overview

Develop the knowledge, skills and professional insights to work with confidence as a photographer, producing editorial work for magazines, newspapers or the advertising and communications industry.

Your work will involve both digital and chemically-based wet photography and you will have opportunities for work experience as well as learning from permanent and visiting lecturers who are practising designers and artists in the UK and abroad.

Professional practice and career development are integral to the course and you will have help to prepare a professional portfolio and marketing materials.

At the end of the course, realise a creative project, and have the opportunity to progress to the third year of a BA (Hons) degree in a related field.
