Course overview
This programme will produce graduates who are experts in research skills, design, planning, manufacturing and the repair of "tool and die" equipment and products including the moulds used in the manufacturing sector. Almost all industrial products which have to be produced in large quantities need to utilize the molding or equipment in the process of production. To produce these equipment or mould requires highly skilled capabilities. The use of advanced computer aided technology plays an important role in the nation's "tool & die" industry. Other than technical knowledge, students will also be taught management and administrative modules. The duration of the programme is 4 years with one semesters of industrial training.
Career Path
Graduates from this field will have excellent oppurtunities to work as experts in the production of "tool & die" or in industries which utilize moulds such as in the automotive and electronics industries.
