Course overview
This program from IESA in Paris, Aimed at students who have already studied some history of art but wish to develop a more specialised interest in the history and business of art, this course offers a final year of study at undergraduate level, leading to the award of a Bachelor degree (Titre II, validated by the French state). Each program of study is built around lectures, visits and workshops so that you can make the most of studying in Paris and learning about its great collections and institutions. An important feature of the Bachelor is that you develop your expertise and learn to recognise and analyse works by major French artists. You also develop your professional knowledge and understanding of the art business through courses on art law and marketing, fundamental tools in the market today.
Entry requirements
The program is available to anyone who has completed two or three years of undergraduate study and is entering the final year of their undergraduate education. Your grades must be the equivalent to the US GPA of 3.00 or a grade average of B-.
