Year Abroad

This world-leading facility has been designed in collaboration with students and academic staff to create interdisciplinary, flexible and creative workspaces, with innovative teaching areas being a key feature, including a new simulated Trading Room for financial mathematics.

This degree is accredited by the Institute of Mathematics and its Applications (IMA).

The MMath degree expands on the BSc to prepare you for high-level entry into relevant professions. It's also a solid base for pursuing a research career.

You will learn the same content as the four-year BSc with a Year Abroad degree, plus an additional year where you will complete a major piece of project work, such as:
