Our undergraduate academic offerings include two international single-cycle master’s degree programs, alongside a variety of health professions courses taught in Italian. All our courses are inspired by the concept of active learning, combining theoretical knowledge with practical experience.
Our international degree courses
Medicine and Surgery
The MD course in Medicine and Surgery at Humanitas University is a 6-year degree taught entirely in English, with an international student community representing over 20 countries. Each year, the program welcomes 200 students — divided into150 European students and 50 non-Europeans.
From the first year, students engage in a multidisciplinary curriculum that integrates theory with hands-on experience through simulation labs and small-group activities led by internationally experienced faculty and over 150 practicing doctors, who are also tutors and members of the teaching community. Starting in the third year, students begin their clinical training at Humanitas Research Hospital under the guidance of specialized tutors.
MEDTEC School
The MEDTEC School is an innovative 6-year program that combines Medicine and Biomedical Engineering, preparing future doctors to integrate advanced technologies into patient care. There are 100 places available each year — 80 for European students and 20 for non-European students.
The curriculum focuses on topics like AI, robotics, precision medicine, and nanotechnologies, enabling students to manage cutting-edge tools in diagnostics, treatment, and rehabilitation. The program fosters a new professional profile capable of delivering high-quality, human-centered care through technological innovation. Upon graduation, students earn a Master’s Degree in Medicine and Surgery and a Bachelor’s Degree in Biomedical Engineering, both recognized across Europe and in many countries worldwide.

Educational Requirements
A High School Diploma obtained after at least 12 years of education is required. If the local school system consists of only 10 or 11 years of schooling, the diploma meets the requirement only when supplemented by 1 or 2 years of university studies. Additional requirements apply depending on the international curriculum:
- For the American curriculum, candidates must have at least 3 AP exams in STEM subjects, with scores between 3 and 5.
- For the British curriculum, students must have achieved 3 A Levels in STEM subjects.
- International Baccalaureate: the Diploma must be issued by an institution recognized by the International Baccalaureate Organisation (IBO).
Online Admission Test
A unique multiple-choice test is used for both the Medicine and Surgery and MEDTEC School degree programs. The test focuses on various types of logic and STEM subjects and is offered twice a year.
Matriculation
Candidates are admitted according to their placement on the final ranking list, and enrollment is completed entirely online.
