Because Luxury can be sustainable!

Designing a better future at BESIGN School
Nestled in the vibrant heart of the French Riviera, BESIGN School is far from a conventional design institution. Here, creativity meets responsibility, and students are empowered to shape the future of design with purpose, precision, and a deep awareness of their impact on the world.
BESIGN stands for “Be Sustainable by Design” — a philosophy deeply embedded in every aspect of the school’s teaching and culture. With a strong focus on global and sustainable design, students are encouraged to move beyond aesthetics to explore how design can address real-world challenges, influence human behavior, and preserve the planet’s resources.
Whether studying product design, fashion and luxury, interior architecture, or strategic design, students are invited to imagine bold and responsible futures.
A new path for Fashion and Luxury lovers!
The fashion and luxury industry remains one of the most polluting sectors in the world. At BESIGN School, students passionate about these fields are encouraged to rethink their creative practices through the lens of sustainability. They explore new uses, work with raw or upcycled materials, and draw inspiration from biomimicry to innovate more responsibly.
One such project saw a student transform surplus leather from a prestigious haute couture house into an elegant, handcrafted wastebasket—turning discarded luxury into desirable design. Projects like these teach students to merge creativity with ethics, and to envision a future where fashion and luxury are both aspirational and sustainable.
Shaping the future with an international community
BESIGN School welcomes students from over 30 different countries, creating a uniquely diverse and dynamic learning environment. In this global community, difference becomes the norm—and a rich source of inspiration. What unites us all is our shared humanity, and a collective desire to make a meaningful impact. At BESIGN School, design is not just a craft; it’s a powerful tool for transformation. Courses are conducted entirely in English, and scholarships are available to support international students who wish to join this vibrant ecosystem of change-makers.
