The University of Warwick Summer School (WSS) has been running since 2014 and we're delighted to be back for 2026!
Our three-week Summer School provides a unique combination of learning and debating with renowned academics and high-profile guest speakers, living alongside your peers on our beautiful Warwick campus and enjoying a fun and engaging social and cultural programme in the heart of England.
The range of courses on offer at the Summer School means that whether you are looking to boost your core knowledge or aiming to broaden your academic skill set and study something a bit more specialised, we have a course that is right for you. Our range of courses attract undergraduate and postgraduate students and working professionals, which facilitates stimulating class discussion and insightful learning.

With a history stretching back over thousands of years, England's capital London is full of world-class tourist attractions, cultural and historic landmarks, top restaurants, beautiful open spaces and brilliant shopping as well as being one of the most diverse and exciting cities in the world. Our Summer School includes a day trip to London and tickets for the London Eye and river cruise as part of the tuition fee.
Students are able to debate and discuss issues with renowned academics such as Professors Abhinay Muthoo and Franklyn Lisk. We also attract top guest speakers and offer interactive sessions with eminent public figures. Nobel Prize winner George Akerlof, the former Cabinet Secretary and Head of the UK Civil Service Lord Gus O Donnell and eminent economist Lord Robert Skidelsky have all spoken in previous years.

The campus is based close to Coventry and England's second city, Birmingham as well as being just an hours train journey to London. We are also lucky to be in the heart of Warwickshire, close to Shakespeare's birthplace Stratford Upon Avon, Warwick Castle, the Cotswolds and Leamington Spa.
You will live at Warwick's extraordinary self contained and world-class campus with access to all its amazing facilities including teaching and learning spaces, a 24-hour library, Arts centre and cinema, brand new sports and wellness hub including a pool, restaurants and cafes and many green spaces including lakes, woodland and open fields.
