Students are expected to complete four mandatory modules which are taught in the classroom or online and one research module which results in the production of a major report

Professional Accreditations
After two years of membership this award qualifies students to apply for Chartered Mambership of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport with the right to use the post-nominal CMILT.

Assessment
Assessment methods include a variety of written formats from essays and reports (ranging from 3,000 to 3,500 words), Directed Reading and Reflection Exercises (up to 500 words in length) and oral presentations delivered both in a group and individually.
The student-led research project is expected to be around 8,000 to 10,000 words in length. The project is supported by a nominated member of the academic staff in the role of project supervisor.
In addition to summative assessments the programme also undertakes a range of formative assessments that may include one or more of the following: peer assessed work, group presentations, reflective journals, blogs and wikis, internet searches, document analysis, and bibliographic exercises.
