About Veterinary Medicine, PhD - at University of Veterinary Medicine and Pharmacy in Košice
The University of Veterinary Medicine and Pharmacy in Košice provides postgraduate study (hereinafter referred to as “PhD study“) in 14 accredited study programmes at the 3rd level of higher education in full-time and part-time forms in Slovak and English languages.
Standard duration of PhD study in full-time form of study is 4 academic years (8 semesters) and in the part-time form of study is 5 academic years (10 semesters).
Graduates from the postgraduate study at the 3rd level of higher education are awarded the academic degree of “doctor“ (“philosophiae doctor“, abbreviated as „PhD“).
