This engineering programme trains students in research, design and the development of innovative products and processes that will benefit the healthcare sector. You will develop medical innovations that really contribute to better care. This dynamic, interdisciplinary field combines engineering and natural and life sciences, such as biology, nanotechnology, physics, electrical engineering, chemistry and mechanical engineering. During the programme you can specialize in one of three tracks:

Therefore there is a growing need for engineers with broad technical knowledge, insight into the workings of the human body and creative ideas. During this programme you will be trained to be such an engineer. You will be taught to research, design and develop technology for healthcare.
