Course overview

This master's programme is an opportunity to combine your Physics and Technology competencies with cutting-edge skills in Biomedical Engineering that will make an impact in medical and health care. With a master's degree in Biomedical Engineering, you may work in the health care sector, in research and development in the private sector, or pursue an academic career.


Entry requirements

Eligibility

A Bachelor's degree or equivalent first-cycle qualification comprising of at least 180 ECTS (credits) or a corresponding qualification from an

internationally recognised university. Specific entry requirements are: 90 ECTS in one of the following subjects; Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, Electronics, or equivalent. At least 17,5 ECTS in the subject of Mathematics including Linear Algebra, Differential Equations, and Vector Analysis, or equivalent. At least 20 ECTS in the subject of Physics including Mechanics, or equivalent. At least 7,5 ECTS in the subject of Computer Science, or equivalent. At least 7,5 ECTS in Electronics or Applied Measurement Technology, or equivalent. At least 6 ECTS in the subject of Statistics or equivalent. Proficiency in English equivalent to Swedish upper secondary course English 6/level 2.
