Course overview
The Bachelor of Social Science (Social Science and International Relations) offers students the chance to learn how countries and regions interact on a global scale and the issues that these relationships can face. Students will gain a strong understanding of Australian domestic and international affairs while looking at the multitude of relationships and issues that affect nations, regions and global politics on a wider international level. Students will be encouraged to incorporate a study abroad experience or an internship under the Australian National Internship Program to give them an edge when it comes time to find a job. Graduates of this degree will be equipped for a career in foreign affairs, diplomacy, intelligence, defence, international trade, human rights or tourism.
