As a graduate of the Bachelor of Engineering Science, you will be eligible to apply for membership with Engineers Australia as an Engineering Technologist. After gaining experience from working in the field, you can apply for chartered status as an Engineering Technologist. When you have completed the Bachelor of Engineering Science, you have the option to undertake the Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) and receive the appropriate credit. USQ's Bachelor of Engineering Science will allow students to take the step to higher qualifications as well as the chance to immerse them self in the programming, design and development of major software and hardware programs. Students can find a great job after their degree with a wide variety of careers available in government, commercial, private or specialised areas available. As a professional Computer Systems Technologist, IT Manager or Computer sales person, students will work with expert systems, the interfacing of computers with other systems and various areas of computer sales, manufacturing, improvement and engineering and will make an impact on modern Australian computer technology.
