About Foundation Diploma of University Studies (FDUS) (Construction), UG:Diploma - at University of Southern Queensland

USQ's construction major in the Foundation Diploma of University Studies provides you with general knowledge to get you ready for university study as well as develop your understanding of construction management, engineering and the built environment.

You will strengthen your skills in problem solving and mathematics and also be provided the opportunity to delve deeper into methods, application and design to broaden your knowledge of construction work.

Further studies

As a graduate of this program, you will be eligible to apply for direct entry into selected USQ undergraduate construction degrees. If you choose to go on to further studies some subjects that you choose could also count as credit toward your undergraduate degree.
