About Foundation Diploma of University Studies (FDUS) (Science), UG:Diploma - at University of Southern Queensland

Do you have an interest in science but didn't complete Year 12 or are new to study? Designed to give you an introduction to the scientific environment, USQ's Foundation Diploma of University Studies is a great start to university studies and it provides the opportunity to sample four courses from a number of science areas including psychology, computing, astronomy, biology and maths to progress your career.

Further studies

As a graduate of this program, you will be eligible to apply for direct entry into selected USQ undergraduate degrees. If you choose to go on to further studies the science subjects that you choose could also count as credit toward your undergraduate degree.

Career outcomes

As a foundation diploma graduate, you will be provided with general knowledge in preparation for a career in science. Further study in your chosen field can provide a pathway to your dream career.
