USQ's Graduate Diploma of Education (Career Development) is ideal if you work in teaching, counselling, training, employment or community development roles and support the career planning and development of students, clients, and organisations. It is for new and experienced practitioners alike.
Through this eight unit-degree, you will focus on big picture issues in career development, including policy, employability and learning. You will also have the opportunity to study other postgraduate education courses that interest you.
Flexible study
After you complete the Graduate Diploma of Education, you will have the option to take the credit from your studies and go on to complete the Master of Education.
If you're not quite ready to undertake a Graduate Diploma or don't meet the entry requirements, you may like to start with USQ's Graduate Certificate of Education, before going on to study the Graduate Diploma.
Professional accreditation
The Career Development specialisation addresses core and selected specialist competencies from the Professional Standards for Australian Career Development Practitioners, and it has been officially endorsed by the Career Industry Council of Australia as a qualification for the status of professional career development practitioner under the Professional Standards.
