Are you wishing to extend your teaching career into the field of Guidance and Counselling as a guidance officer, guidance counsellor or school counsellor? The Graduate Diploma of Education (Guidance and Counselling) will help prepare you to make this transition.
Through this eight unit-degree, you will be introduced to counselling in an education environment and explore issues associated with the intervention, protection and prevention of child neglect. You will also have the opportunity to study other postgraduate education courses that interest you.
Flexible study
After you complete the Graduate Diploma of Education, you will have the option to take the credit from your studies and go on to complete the Master of Education.
If you're not quite ready to undertake a Graduate Diploma or don't meet the entry requirements, you may like to start with USQ's Graduate Certificate of Education, before going on to study the Graduate Diploma.
