About Graduate Diploma of Education (GDEDorGDEF) (Special Education), Graduate Diploma - at University of Southern Queensland

USQ's Graduate Diploma of Education (Special Education) extends your specialist knowledge, experience and skills working with students with learning difficulties.

Through this eight unit-degree, you will have the opportunity to study in the areas of behaviour management, Autism Spectrum Disorder and teaching students with high support needs. relating to the education of young children and develop the ability to critically analyse your understandings of contemporary learning and teaching. You will also have the opportunity to study other postgraduate education courses that interest you.

Flexible study

After you complete the Graduate Diploma of Education, you will have the option to take the credit from your studies and go on to complete the Master of Education.

If you're not quite ready to undertake a Graduate Diploma or don't meet the entry requirements, you may like to start with USQ's Graduate Certificate of Education, before going on to study the Graduate Diploma.
