Course overview

Learning does not stop once we leave school. It is now an intrinsic part of the contemporary work environment, and there is a growing demand for educators who are able to design, implement and deliver a range of learning opportunities for adults in the workplace and the wider community.

Through USQ's Graduate Diploma of Education (Adult, Professional and Workplace Learning) you will study facilitated learning outside of school settings, informal learning and develop your mentoring and coaching skills. You will also have the opportunity to study other postgraduate education courses that interest you.

Flexible study

After you complete the Graduate Diploma of Education, you will have the option to take the credit from your studies and go on to complete the Master of Education.

If you're not quite ready to undertake a Graduate Diploma or don't meet the entry requirements, you may like to start with USQ's Graduate Certificate of Education, before going on to study the Graduate Diploma.

Career outcomes

Graduates will be well-placed for careers as education officers, development officers and workplace mentors in adult professional and workplace learning environments.
