Course overview
Join a world-leading research environment and develop the skills to design and implement the clean energy systems of the future.
Our MSc in Sustainable Energy Technologies provides an academically challenging and industry-relevant education in advanced renewable and low-carbon technologies for sustainable power generation and energy storage.
You'll gain both theoretical insight and practical experience across key areas of energy research, including photovoltaics, fuel cells, energy storage and batteries, combustion, electrical power systems, and wind, wave and tidal energy.
Through hands-on laboratory and project work, you'll learn to design, model and evaluate energy systems such as fuel cells, solar panels, wind turbines and hybrid propulsion technologies. You'll also explore how thermo-fluid engineering principles can be applied to improve the efficiency and sustainability of energy conversion processes.
This programme is ideal for graduates in engineering, science or mathematics who are passionate about driving the transition to sustainable energy and pursuing careers in renewable energy research, technology development, or the global energy sector.
