Course overview

The role of technology and innovation in the financial service profession is changing rapidly. Our MSc Financial Technology and Innovation will teach you the theory behind these developments, and you’ll develop practical skills by using Bloomberg databases, Python and generative AI to give you the skills you’ll need for a career in the field.

Our MSc Financial Technology and Innovation will prepare you for a career in finance and accounting with a specific focus on technology and innovation. You do not need to have studied finance or accounting before to study this course.

You’ll not only learn about the theory behind finance and accounting, but we’ll also teach you state-of-the-art analytical skills through our modules that focus on technology and data analytics skills, so that you're ready for the world of work. With this combination of theory and practical skills, you’ll have a competitive edge for your future career.

Throughout the course, you’ll have the chance to engage with industry experts through guest lectures. You can also choose to base your dissertation project on an external company to gain more industry experience.
