This course covers the foundational subjects in the Common Law of England and Wales and provides the opportunity to understand European and international legal issues.

Develop your critical understanding of the Common Law of England and Wales with an emphasis on the European and international legal contexts.

You’ll study the foundations of legal knowledge in your first year to gain a strong grounding in the key areas of law, building further on your foundation law knowledge in your second year with a focus on the study of EU law and international law.

In your third year you’ll study abroad at one of our many partner universities across the globe. In your fourth and final year, you’ll return to Sheffield, where you can specialise and build your degree around your passions and career aspirations.
