This degree programme is designed for students who wish to specialise in the area of accounting and finance. It will be of particular interest if you are considering a career with a more financial orientation. You will obtain a critical grasp of core theory along with a thorough knowledge of these disciplines and extensive professional skills of application and analysis. The programme is grounded in a wider understanding of the external environment such as markets, marketing and business strategy and includes ethical considerations throughout.

The four year programme allows you to spend one year on industrial placement. So, by the time you graduate you’ll have the technical and professional skills that are immediately transferable to the business environment. You can achieve credit for prior learning towards ICAEW’s Associate Chartered Accountant (ACA) and the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) qualifications.
