Course overview
Undertake the Micro-Diploma in Public Law, alone or in conjunction with the Micro-Diploma in Private Law for a flexible and clear pathway for internationally trained lawyers to become licensed to practice law in Canada. These micro-diplomas are designed to help lawyers educated outside Canada or those who hold a Canadian civil law degree to satisfy the Federation of Law Societies’ National Committee on Accreditation’s (NCA) requirements to obtain a Certificate of Qualification, a necessary step towards licensure. Potential students are invited to contact the Director of the Internationally Trained Lawyer Program for guidance prior to choosing either of these programs to assist.
