Undertake the Micro-Diploma in Public Law, alone or in conjunction with the Micro-Diploma in Private Law for a flexible and clear pathway for internationally trained lawyers to become licensed to practice law in Canada. These micro-diplomas are designed to help lawyers educated outside Canada or those who hold a Canadian civil law degree to satisfy the Federation of Law Societies’ National Committee on Accreditation’s (NCA) requirements to obtain a Certificate of Qualification, a necessary step towards licensure. Potential students are invited to contact the Director of the Internationally Trained Lawyer Program for guidance prior to choosing either of these programs to assist.Entry requirements for this course
