Course overview
The Desautels Faculty of Music offers a Music minor for students who choose to follow a non-music career path and want to continue practicing their passion for music. The effects of music last a lifetime: exposure to music helps with memory recall, mental organization, creativity, and stress reduction, all of which are essential to a successful university experience. Students who study music at the university level also have a high acceptance rate in post-graduate professional programs like law and medicine.
