Course overview
This programme offers advanced study in the history of twentieth-century architecture and in the evaluation and management of modern architectural heritage. You will benefit from one-to-one staff/student contact and from involvement with live and on-going architectural heritage issues, taught by a team of internationally recognised scholars working in association with the Twentieth Century Society and other Statutory Amenity Groups.
From the base in Finsbury Square, close to the cultural centre of the Barbican and the financial centre of the City of London, the programme will build links with leading architectural practices and conservation organisations, drawing upon and feeding into the unique wealth of knowledge and expertise available locally. You will be well-positioned for using the RIBA Library, the British Library, London Metropolitan Archives, the Guildhall Library and the Museum of London.
