Course overview

This programme equips students with the necessary skills and techniques to deal with the challenges of sustainable development from a business perspective, as well as an appreciation of the wider context of globalisation, social responsibility and market issues. The experience is especially relevant for those already in business management who wish to learn more about material issues affecting business decision-making as a result of the pressing issues related to climate change impacts, resource constraints and changing public attitudes. The programme provides a series of courses that address contemporary theories and practices concerning the integration of environmental, governance and social issues into business strategy. It is aimed at students who want to not only work in the field of: environmental management and policy; corporate social responsibility and reporting; ESG management or consultancy, but for those also looking to develop their career through the integration of sustainability performance in to their chosen profession.
