About Business Studies (Year 3 Direct Entry), BA (Hons) - at University of Greenwich
This programme enables students who have previously completed a foundation degree, an HND or two years of higher education in business or management to 'top up' to an honours degree. This programme is for you if you have a specific interest in business management, operations and/or planning theory and want to enhance your problem solving, communication and interpersonal skills.
The programme will prepare you for careers in business and management by developing your systematic, analytical and integrated understanding of key aspects of business. You will learn about organisations, business and management and the changing external environment in which organisations operate.
You will also learn about strategic management and small business development and have the opportunity to undertake a consultancy project. The programme usually enables associate membership of the Chartered Management Institute.
EmployabilityYouwill connect with employers through our dedicated Business SchoolEmployability Team who focus on developing your employmentskills. They also provide you with CV support and will inviteyou to employment fairs to network with employers and recruiters fromindustries. The team was shortlisted for the Times Higher Education Leadership and Management Awards.
We are actively improving job prospects for graduatesthrough the support we provide. According to survey findings, 93 per centof 2014/15 Greenwich graduates looking for work were already in jobs or furtherstudy by January 2016.
Experience abroadYou can participate in the Erasmus+ internationalexchange programme. This will help improve your language skills and give youexperience of living and working in another country. The Erasmus+ Schemeprovides a grant towards the cost of studying abroad for a year.
