Course overview
The Interdepartmental Postgraduate Program "Conservation and Restoration of Historical Buildings and Ensembles" is the product of collaboration between 3 Departments from 2 different Faculties of the University of Cyprus:
(i) Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering (School of Engineering),
(ii) Department of Architecture (School of Technology) and
(iii) Department of History and Archaeology (Faculty of Philosophy).
It is aimed at Civil Engineers, Architects, Archaeologists, Chemical Engineers, Geologists, Conservators and other related specialties and aims to specialize in issues of conservation and restoration of historical buildings and ensembles. The interdisciplinary nature of the program provides students with the opportunity to come into contact with different subjects from a range of scientific backgrounds and to collaborate with other individuals within the framework of common interdisciplinary synergies, in order to achieve their comprehensive training in the conservation and restoration of architectural cultural heritage.
