Course overview

The main objective of the Master of Science in Electrical Engineering/Master of Engineering in Electrical Engineering program is to educate and train in-depth engineers in various fields of electrical engineering, who will subsequently be able to solve advanced electrical engineering problems using software tools and state-of-the-art equipment. In this problem solving process, technological constraints and constraints inherent to the problem at hand, both in terms of hardware and software, are taken into account. Furthermore, the program aims to introduce students to the cutting-edge research and innovation currently taking place in the various areas of Electrical Engineering.

The program emphasizes mastery in the field of interest of each student as well as advanced knowledge of other subjects in related areas. It is tailored to meet the needs of each student with some certain general restrictions set by the Department. The course offerings provide the student with an opportunity to deepen his or her knowledge in a specific area of electrical engineering, as well as broaden his or her knowledge by also taking courses in a number of other areas of electrical engineering.
