Course overview
The Electroacoustic Composition/Sonic Art pathway invites you to help map out the next steps in Birmingham's thirty year history as a world leader in the area of electroacoustic music composition and presentation. A solid grounding in the field, its aesthetics and traditions is augmented by instruction in the latest techniques and technology. we have a wide range of resources and facilities to support your learning and ensure you receive the maximum benefit from studying this programme. Your learning will be enhanced by our extensive facilities, including the new Bramall Music Building and the Electroacoustic Music Studios and Birmingham ElectroAcoustic Sound Theatre (BEAST).
Entry requirements
Students need to have an IELTS score of 6.5 with no less than 6.0 in any band; TOEFL IBT: 88 overall with no less than 21 in reading, 20 in listening, 22 in speaking, 21 in writing; or PTE Academic 59 in all 4 skills.
