Course overview

Develop your creative and practical skills on this course, which offers you the opportunity for work placements in this exciting branch of the creative industries.

You will explore a range of making/manufacturing processes and design approaches, developing your awareness of the economic aspects of each, and then have an opportunity to combine study of fashion and surface patterns or to specialise in either as you work towards realising your own creative project.

Permanent and visiting lecturers and speakers with extensive industry expertise as practising designers and artists will keep you up-to-date with the latest developments.

Your work and study will link to your experience in the textile design or garment industry, ensuring you leave with the necessary skills for employment.
