Course overview
This course offers the unique combination of the study of English Literature with a study of English Language and teaching leading to a Teaching English as a foreign language, (TEFL) qualification. On completion of the course you will also be awarded the internationally valued teaching qualification, the TELFi which is recognised by the British Council Accreditation Scheme.
The course can lead into Primary QTS, (Qualified Teacher Status), a Secondary QTS or even education support roles in schools.
There is also the opportunity to take a placement year either in the UK or overseas.
