About Chemical Sciences, BSc (Hons) - at University College Cork (UCC)
Overview
Chemistry provides a scientific understanding of molecules and how they react together, leading to exciting developments in the use of the advanced materials we see around us in the world. Itis the study of the properties and behaviour of all matter.
Chemical Sciencesgives you access to four degree programmes in Chemistry, Chemistry with Forensic Science, Chemical Physics, and Education in Physical Sciences.
If you particularly enjoy Chemistry, Physics or Maths as Leaving Certificate subjects, are happy working in a laboratory environment and enjoy the challenge of experimental investigation and research in the physical sciences, then Chemical Sciencesmay be the course for you.
