Course fee notes

The Student Finance service provides student loans to help pay for tuition fees and the cost of living, depending on your circumstances.

You'll be charged interest on your loan as soon as you take it out, but you only start repayments once you earn more than a certain amount - currently £21,000.

Repayments are based on how much you earn, not how much you've borrowed.

Course overview

This theory and practical based module, which requires 100% attendance and can be residential, aims to provide suitably qualified health care professionals with the knowledge and necessary skills to perform sharp debridement as part of the management of a chronic wound.

The taught element follows the process defined in the TVNA procedures document. This module contains practical elements and is delivered jointly by university and clinical staff from the Wound Healing Unit. The module forms part of the Masters provision and can be combined with other modules to achieve this award.
