Course overview
A new Foundation Degree, created in response to demand for the Nursing Associate role in the healthcare system.
The Nursing Associate supports the registered nurse in ensuring service users and families receive high quality, compassionate care. The programme will prepare you to work alongside healthcare assistants and registered nurses to deliver and evaluate hands-on care. During the programme you will attend the University one day a week and experience practice in a variety of clinical settings, employed as a trainee Nursing Associate.
Successful trainees will be eligible to register with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) as a Nursing Associate. Visit your local NHS Trust website for further information and to apply.
