The Student Finance service provides student loans to help pay for tuition fees and the cost of living, depending on your circumstances.
You'll be charged interest on your loan as soon as you take it out, but you only start repayments once you earn more than a certain amount - currently £21,000.
Repayments are based on how much you earn, not how much you've borrowed.
Course overview
This module will develop a student’s knowledge and understanding of haematological disorders and their treatment, care and rehabilitation of patients.
Students will synthesise theoretical evidence and research based knowledge to inform clinical practice and role development in haematology and BMT care delivery.
Learning is through a combination of lectures and seminars, providing students with the opportunity to acquire an in-depth knowledge of policy, organisation and delivery of care, and the biological basis of haematological disorders and their treatment. Group discussions will help to share practice and consolidate knowledge. Directed study will help students to develop individual portfolios of learning which can be related to their own clinical areas.
