Course overview
Engaging with this module will develop your knowledge of the current evidence relating to diabetes care and enhance your skills in delivering patient focused diabetes care.
Diabetes Mellitus is a chronic disease that is predicted to increase in prevalence with an estimate 5.5million people with the condition in the UK by 2030. Health care professionals in all areas of care come in contact with increasing numbers of patients with Diabetes. The timetable has been developed and will be delivered from a multidisciplinary perspective.
By the end of this module it is anticipated that all participants will have an enhanced knowledge of key aspects of diabetes care delivery and appreciate the roles of all MDT team members and promote their involvement in diabetes care delivery as appropriate.
