The Student Finance service provides student loans to help pay for tuition fees and the cost of living, depending on your circumstances.
You'll be charged interest on your loan as soon as you take it out, but you only start repayments once you earn more than a certain amount - currently £21,000.
Repayments are based on how much you earn, not how much you've borrowed.
Course overview
This module gives you the opportunity to study and practice assessment skills and clinical decision making relevant to your working role.
You will develop your skills in clinical practice as well as your knowledge and conceptual understanding with learning in practice as well as in the classroom and simulation suite.
This module will provide students with an understanding of the theoretical underpinnings of the concepts, skills, practice and management of the consultation process. This will enable students to acquire advanced knowledge and expertise to undertake both comprehensive clinical history taking and skilled physical assessment.
In addition it will provide the opportunity to develop the in-depth knowledge and understanding of the evidence base that underpins clinical decision making and enable learners to critically explore the inter-professional context of care-delivery and identify professional boundaries in the context of multi-agency work.
The flexibility offered by this module will enable you to take forward your current experience, whatever the area of your work, in collaboration with the University of Bradford.
Your learning will take place in multi-professional groups with other experienced healthcare professionals, improving your inter-professional communication skills and networking opportunities.
