Course overview
Students selecting a concentration in mental health will take coursework in counseling techniques and psychological assessment. They will also gain direct experience in the field as early as their freshman year, with placements including school guidance offices, community mental health centers, and social service programs throughout the Manchester NH area. Graduates of SNHU's Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a concentration in Mental Health have taken jobs as case managers, residential counselors, and intake coordinators, among other psychology-related professions.
