This is a versatile course which equips you for a career in either residential or commercial property sectors, in areas such as planning, development and management. The course covers a wide range of content, including - property appraisal - building studies - sustainability for the built environment - business planning - law and economics. You also examine real estate environmental, political and social issues. You gain a broad understanding of real estate valuation, economics, management and law. The course also develops valuable practical knowledge and skills in areas such as - referencing property - selling and marketing property - letting residential property - project management. To improve your work performance and help progress your career, the course also develops your business knowledge and skills, such as - problem solving - report writing - communication - working in groups - IT. This diversity provides you with a solid foundation for a career in many areas of real estate practice and in other areas related to planning and built environment.
